Bubble Wrap...

I have made a decision... It wasn't easy to make, but it has to happen. My Kaden will NOT leave the house unless he is wrapped up in bubble wrap!!! UGH! I swear. We can't leave without my baby getting hurt!

Last night we had the awesome opportunity to attend a family reunion. It was a great party with amazing food and even better family surrounding us. I really am so glad we went. It was a great experience! Kaden was beyond excited to get to go swimming. They had a really fun pool at their house and all the kids wanted to skip eating to get in the pool! We swam for a couple hours incident free! There was NO running on by the pool and he was kept very safe in the water. It was great! (I really have a water baby... he LOVES it! Cast and all!) After getting changed and ready for some delicious dutch oven dessert, all the kids started playing with a ball. They were running and having a great time! Next thing I know, Kaden is crying. Not like "I didn't get a turn and I'm sad" it was "Where is my Mother?! I'm seriously hurt here!!" I ran over to grab him only to find that he had a bloody nose! Nice... For all you mother's out there, you know that feeling you get when EVERYONE is watching you try and help your child? I hate that. It makes my anxiety levels shoot out the roof! It's bad enough when it's people you know...but I was with all these folks that I had no idea who they were. You can bet that we didn't hang around to have the world watch as I got to the bottom of that. Apparently, the oldest girl out there playing kicked the ball and it hit Kade square in the face. Oh man... I tell you! He needs to be wrapped up! I want him to experience life and being a boy and all that business, but really. He doesn't need to get hurt! It makes me so sad!! Wasn't there a movie about a boy in a bubble? Hmmm... I should probably google! That mother seriously has the write idea! :)

If by chance you see Kaden in one of these, don't judge! I'm already on a first name basis with the ER doctor's!! :)
