BIG Changes

Raise your hand if you've ever: Put a security deposit on a home, got a new job, changed your child's preschool and developed an entirely new schedule for your family? I'm sure there are multiple people (all 3 of you who read my blog! Hi Mom!) who have done one of these things if not all of them. Here's the kicker. I did ALL of those things in a 48 hour period. Kill me!

Last Wednesday was Kaden's first day of preschool! He was so excited to go to Miss Sophie's house and get to learn. We had a great morning and headed home for a relaxing afternoon when my phone rang. Now, just to give you a clue, my phone only rings when it's a serious matter. NO ONE calls me! It's just the thing. I text everyone and they text back. So when the phone is ringing it's either trouble, or something fabulous! Lucky for me, this was fabulous! It was Bravo Arts Academy calling to inform me that I had landed a job as a preschool teacher for them!! Hello Happy!!! Upon originally applying, I wanted to be a piano teacher. How we got to preschool from that is a crazy story, but it all worked out and I'm extremely pleased!

With that blessed phone call, I was also informed that Kaden would be able to enroll in their Kindergarten program. So every day he gets to go with me to work! How sweet is that! His classroom is across the hall from mine and his teacher is a doll! With the school change, came a bunch of other changes. We have early bedtime, early wake-up and a few other adjustments to work out, but I'm so glad things are the way they are! We are super blessed :)

That same Wednesday (I'm telling you... this was a go big or go home kinda day!) my dad had found us the perfect little house! It's this beyond darling duplex in Riverdale in a great neighborhood. I called the landlord and she agreed to meet us that night! As soon as we walked in, Bryan and I knew that this is where we were supposed to be. I was smiling ear to ear as we got the tour. After some questions, an anonymous reference, and a deposit, we have a home!! I'm seriously stoked!

I'm sure the good things will keep coming and I'm sure that I will let you know about it :)
