Snow Day!

Kaden was ecstatic to see the snow today! He has been waiting and waiting for it to snow again. He got the first part of his snow outfit in November for his birthday. Grandpa Bill and Grandma Judi gave him his coveralls and he loves them! For Christmas between my mom and I (mostly my mom!) we finished up his outfit. Well, as we all know, this hasn't exactly been the best winter for snow. It's snowed only a handful of times since Kade has had his entire get up put together. So today was the day! We went out and played for about an hour and he had a ball! Part of the complete package was his "Kaden sized" snow shovel. We cleared the driveway and sidewalk and played around. As I was finishing up the driveway, I heard Kaden's little giggle. I turned around just in time to catch a snowball in the face! He cracked up! Of course this turned into our version of a snowball fight! It was so much fun!









After staying outside, while it was still snowing, Kade decided it was too cold and he wanted to head inside. He asked me if I could make him a big cup of hot chocolate and cozy up to watch a movie with him. How could I ever say no?! So that's exactly what we did! After a nice hot bath, we made our hot chocolate and picked out Monsters Inc. for our movie. It was a wonderful afternoon spent with my favorite little guy! :)
