Laughing!

Have you ever had one of those good for nothing, wanna pull your hair out because it would be more pleasant, pretty sure someone will get hurt if they look at you wrong, bad kinda days? Well I have. And yesterday happened to be one of them!

After a series of very complicated events, (ok. My ipod is missing and I tore our room apart trying to find it. It only got complicated when I had to put everything back!) I ended up being one cranky Mama yesterday. It seemed as though NOTHING was going in the direction that I needed it to. And let me tell you... When things like that are happening, I don't hide it well. And typically the people closest to me are those hearing the brunt of my tantrum.

Around my breaking point, which happens to be around 9:00 (bedtime!), my stress levels were peaked and I needed to chill! Unfortunately when I get this way, my little tot knows exactly who to turn to for bed time. Grandpa! I affectionately call my Dad the Baby Whisperer. Ever since Kade was little he's been able to get him to sleep in RECORD time! Lucky for me, my Dad was up for the job and took over! Thanks Pops :)

As we (Mother Bear, Bryan and I) waited for the whisperer to work his magic, we started chatting about anything and everything. It was one of those random conversations that you jump from one thing to the next and it blows your mind how you got there. During this epic conversation, we started cracking up! And I mean, gut wrenching, feel it in your abs tomorrow, cracking up! We spent 2 1/2 hours talking our way through Survivor and having a fantastic time!

When I crawled in bed last night, I was amazed to be in such a fantastic mood. I mean really. To go from the Wicked Witch

to Glinda in a matter of 2 hours is pretty epic.

Especially for me! I realized that even though my tiny little world was full of troubles, it was easy to get lost in the laughter and come out in a fabulous way!

I highly recommend laughing it out after a rough day! Even if you have to put on 'Just Friends' and watch Ryan Reynolds said "Jamie!!!" 47 times to get the ball rolling, the end result will HIGHLY improve your mood! :)
