Epic!

There is only one word that can describe my life right now... EPIC! I have been living in a whirlwind and I love it! For a little recap, the holidays were amazing! From Thanksgiving to New Year's, we were having a blast! My little boy isn't so little these days! He had his 4th Birthday and he had a wonderful day! It was filled with lots of family and friends and of course lots of presents! He is one very loved little guy! I am always amazed at how well his birthday turns out. There is always the tiniest bit of stress/fear that certain things will come up, but lucky enough for us we managed to get through everything stress free! Right after Kade's birthday, we moved straight into the Christmas season! We went to a large variety of parties and events and managed to get through them all and remain fairly healthy! Kaden was able to participate in his very first Tiny Tones performance and he did so great! I was so proud of him! Singing isn't his favorite thing to do... but he made it through and did an amazing job! He continues to amaze me with all of his talents! Along with his singing performances, he participated in my very first piano recital! All of the kids did a really great job! I was beaming the entire time! It gave me such a good feeling to know that I had a hand in helping all those kids learn how to play and use the talents they have been given!
We had an amazing Christmas... words really can't describe what a great day it was! My completely wonderful parents got me a new camera! I seriously couldn't believe it! I'm not gonna lie... I totally broke down. Ha! I cried like a baby! My other camera had been having some issues and I wasn't sure what I was going to do about it. But now I have an amazing camera and I will be able to do some great things with it!

Have you ever been living life and the most unexpected things happen to you? Welcome to my world! If there is anything that I have learned -in the last 4 weeks, it is that you really can't predict life. That isn't how life works and more now than ever I am a firm believer of that! I NEVER would've guessed that life could be so full of change and adapting and yet still be so great!
In these last few weeks, lots of things have happened!
- I started dating the most amazing guy! He's so darling with Kaden and he's such a sweetheart!
- I'm a hockey fanatic! Who knew?
- I've attended 3 hockey games in 4 days... and it was so fun!
- School started again... and I'm managing to survive! It's going to be a tough one, but I'm sure I'll live!

So as you can see, life comes at you fast! I am so excited to continue on with the epic-ness that is being thrown at me! Here's hoping that I can manage to keep up! :)
